The Treasure Map

Life has often been described as a treadmill, a roller-coaster ride, a rat race. Even with very clear goals in mind, it’s not always so easy to get there.  So you seek advice from the professionals - parents, teachers, people who have been down that road a few times.  They can guide you in what steps to take, but they don’t hold your hand.

That’s why in life, you need a Treasure Map.  Because even with the proper guidance, you can sometimes be convinced that this is the correct opportunity, the right time to make a move.  And after years of trying, you’re no closer to your goal than when you started.

Life’s Treasure Map has been called by various names - “The Guide Book of Life”, the “Instruction Manual for Successful Living”, the “User’s Manual written by the Original Manufacturer”.  Most people simply call it – “The Bible”.

Isn’t it good to know that the Creator of the Universe, He Himself, Who knows all of the in’s and out’s, took the time to publish a Map? But unlike other maps there are hundreds of ways to get to this finish line.  Because everyone has their own road to travel and everyone needs their own solutions. The decisions are always yours to make, but armed with the right equipment, it’s so much easier to home-in on your target.

The Bible can be understood on many levels. Just like some people like to run straight for the prize while others enjoy the adventure of getting there, what you get out of the learning experience is up to each individual.  There are lessons in life for each person, with a proven track record of success.

What’s the Grand Prize? A beautiful life. It’s there for the taking.  Yours by right of inheritance.  But to get the most out of it, you best grab hold of the Treasure Map.  You can begin from any starting point at any time you care to join. And what better time than now as we begin the Bible again with the story of Creation?

But don’t worry if you’ve missed the “Beginning”. Gd knows exactly where you are and which turns you have to take to reach your goal. He doesn’t want to give it away all at once, He just watches and He guides.  Those who think they know better often get caught in a trap, spinning in circles in an endless pursuit of an illusive prize. The smart ones invest their time and study His directions.

Join the adventure – you won’t get lost.
